The Maker Shop creates hands-on learning experiences built around designing, making, and learning by doing.

Founded by a New York State Certified Technology Education teacher with 16+ years of experience, The Maker Shop brings together woodworking, design, fabrication, and digital tools in small-group workshop experiences.

Participants work with real tools, real materials, and modern fabrication technology to take ideas from concept to finished product. Along the way, they develop problem-solving skills, craftsmanship, creativity, and confidence as makers.

Programs are intentionally designed around small groups, thoughtful instruction, and authentic projects—creating the kind of studio environment where there’s time to experiment, ask questions, make mistakes, and build something worth being proud of.

Rather than being tied to a single classroom or shop, The Maker Shop brings thoughtfully designed maker experiences to workshops, schools, and community spaces.

From youth workshops and school experiences to programs for adults, The Maker Shop is a place to design, build, experiment, and make.
